I’ve noticed a nice trend these last few months. No matter how high or low the hemlines the designers are putting out they are showing them off by beautiful accents. I’ve enjoyed pretty flourishes in the prints, pretty edging and like these gorgeous gems from Fredericks they catch your eye draw it down to show off our legs.
As grown women we have to dress to show off our assets and distract attention from our imperfections. These ornate hemlines are real eye catchers. For example, I have a bit of a weight issue. (Nice way to put it right?) I try to pull attention to my bust line and hemline and not have people focus on my waist. Just be sure to watch the length that it is not too low for your size. You don’t want to be lost in the fabric and remember it’s okay to show a little leg.
