Ten Tips to look 10 pounds slimmer- Tip#1

Want to look like you have lost 10 pounds without going on a diet? Let’s face it, even the slimmest of us can look pudgy if dressed wrong.  So for those of us who are carrying a few extra pounds, anything that helps us feel our best is always appreciated. Over the next few weeks we are going to explore 10 Tips and Techniques to help us look 10 pounds lighter.  I’m not talking camouflage or hanging out  with friends that are bigger than we are. lol  I’m talking about tips on picking the right clothes and thinking about what we wear.

Tip #1 Always look to MA!
No, not your mom…  Monochrome & Accessorize!   The simplest but easiest forgotten tip is choose outfits of one earth tone color from head to toe.  Browns, blues, blacks, even cream or when appropriate white can work for anyone.  The key is to accessorize away from the areas we don’t want attention.  Have a big bottom? A bow, a print scarf, a pendant, or a unique pin are all great ways to pull peoples eyes away from those big hips.  A touch of a pretty print on the hem of a skirt,  with a nice solid top will detract attention from a disproportionate bosom.  By creating a monochromatic look we appear taller and leaner. A sure hit.
